To see a healthy and educated society in the rural areas and tap the talents of youth and bring them to the mainstream of society.
Help the helpless rural, urban poor community through various developmental activities. The birth of society is a response indeed and an emotional response to the problem of ignorance, ill health, malnutrition, and providing adequate medical and educational facilities.
We started Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at Kurnool(D). Our important contribution is educating people towards accepting the habit of cleanliness and spreading it among the nearby people. A total of 80 stakeholders such as sweepers, local people, school children, women, and students participated in this program who belongs to Kurnool Town, Andhra Pradesh. These were involved in this program as part of the Swachh Bharat intervention.
Poverty not only deprives people of basic needs but also marginalizes them and leaves them vulnerable to exploitation. Thus access to livelihood development and a means to earn a wage is a fundamental need for maintaining a life with dignity through decades of work in the development sector. JJJKVSS has witnessed the power of increased livelihood for women empowerment and youth skills improvement on the ability of the earning member to participate in family decisions and play a greater role in society as well.
JJJKVSS made its foray into the area of skill development with a beautician training center that is set up in Budavarpet of Kurnool Mandal of Kurnool District for the benefit of women and adolescent girls. 40 women were successfully trained in beautician training center trades for 3 months and also distributed the course completion certificates to those who into in the exams and 50 members participated in the youth skill leadership program.
To convert domestic and agricultural waste materials into value-added organic materials, a simple vermicomposting unit is designed and installed in houses, farms, and educational institutions. The organic manure obtained through vermicomposting replaces the chemical fertilizer and is also helpful for sustainable organic farming.
This program was organized at Husainapuram of Orvakal Mandal, Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh. Totally 70 members benefited from this program.
We conducted health camps for the people with the help of local doctors and found 95 people at the Government General Hospital of Kurnool District. The Trust found that the patients are in need of cataract operations. The trust took the patients in hospitals and made the people for cataract operations. They were provided with medicines, optical, and food. Every month at about nearly 150 people is getting benefited from this program.
HIV/AIDS Awareness Program
‘AIDS’ has become the most dangerous evil of illegal sexual habits, we have organized awareness camps on AIDS in Nandyal Town of Nandyal Mandal, Kurnool District. And we distributed pamphlets and posters and banners in rural areas. A total of 60 members participated in this program.
Vocational Training Program
The vocational training program is conducted to improve the skill of the un-employees to be self-employed our society has selected 80 beneficiaries and they gave them training in tailoring and embroidery. These are the programs conducted by our society to improve their skill development. We have conducted a 6-month training course in tailoring and embroidery at Kurnool Town of Andhra Pradesh.
Covid-19 Awareness Program
An awareness program was conducted regarding the threat posed by the growing pandemic COVID-19. Hence precautions that should be taken were explained to people that everyone should follow social distancing, maintain hygienic surroundings and wear masks when going out and washing hands, etc. This program was organized at the Government General Hospital of Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh. A total no of 300 members benefited from this program.
It is the small change that makes the biggest impact.
